I recently graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism, the top journalism school in the United States. I emphasized in Magazine Editing and I was an Editor of a city/regional magazine during my final semester at the university. I have an eye for detail and I am a very efficient and accurate editor. I took an extensive editing course, which heavily focused on grammar, verb tense and usage among other things. During my time as an Editor for Vox Magazine, an award-winning city/regional magazine, we were going through a complete redesign of the entire magazine. I was apart of the team that decided on, renaming departments, redesigning the layout and the logo, and coming up with completely new sections as well as eliminating current sections. Additionally, I was also in a Magazine Design course, where I myself had to redesign an existing magazine. I have clips from my designed pages if you'd like to see them. I redesigned the cover, Table of Contents and one Department page. I have extensive knowledge on redesigning magazines as well as editing them. In my bid I put that I would be able to work 10 hours/week, but that is totally negotiable. Please let me know how much you need me to work.
