The project involves recognition of racing bib numbers in pictures and video. The program should scan pictures in a folder, recognize the bib numbers (one or more) and write the output to a text-file, excel or access DB (one column picture name, second column Bib number, third columns seconfBib number etc... in case of multiple runner in same photo. Another requirement is to scan video frames and do the same. Ability to identify the Bib number in a VIDEO feed and output TIME and the Bib number recognized. I'm attaching a student project that did it, you have to have a look at the paper, see the code and make it work. Hi, Is the project still active? My Background: Manager, Designs. Image processing expert. I've already done all the parts of this. I've done recognition algorithms (face/iris/palm-print), motion detection (run/jump/walk), number recognition etc. Please look at my profile for my complete work and my portfolio for some sample images.
