I need someone to help me investigate if it is possible to access the underlying WebCore namespace from WebKit in a QtWebKit based application.
Apparently it may be possible with some minor tweaks to QtWebKit source as discussed here, but this blog is out of date and does not seem to apply to Windows.

Following these instructions I get a bunch of unresolved symbols when linking the example app against QtWebKit and including and referencing WebCore classes - all JSCore related.
If I link against [login to view URL], I get duplicate symbols.

The solution has following requirements/dependencies:
* Qt 4.8.1
* Compile on Windows/Mac/Linux
At the moment I am modifying QtWebKit to add methods to QWebPage to do what I want but this is far from ideal.
The successful freelancer should have extensive Qt and C++ skills and the outcome is a test Qt project that links against QtWebKit and can access underlying WebCore::Element object of a QWebElement object.
