Diagnose 401 error - web service failed authentication

I am currently receiving a 401 unauthorized exception when calling my web service, I am using a mixture of anonymous authentication and windows authentication. The client application is using NTLM authentication. I need help resolving this issue. (No new software will be built, just need to troubleshoot a single issue)

We will be looking at the following components:

-HTTP traffic logs of the request

-SOAP UI

-IIS

-Server configuration

-web configuration file
