C# Create methods for adding/removing records to/from xml file

We need c# methods for adding and removing records from a xml file. the schema of the xml can change (add fields). have a look at the attached sample1 file. we need 4 methods: AddRow RemoveRowsOlderThan RemoveRowsZipFileName UpdateRows bool AddRow(string filename, SampleClass1 dataClass1) For AddRow it would be best to use a class. Fields not defined in the class but in the xml should be written as empty values. We will extend the class if needed. bool RemoveRowsOlderThan (string filename, DateTime olderThan) Remove all rows with a "datCreate" older than given datetime bool RemoveRowsZipFileName(string filename, string zipFilename) Remove the row with "szZipFile" is the given filename (not case sensetiv) bool UpdateRows(string filename) It can happen, that the field definition is updated by an external software but the rows not. So if fields are added or removed, this method should update the rows to match the new schema. For the sample2 file we need only need to create the xml file. we need to read the first level <RECSET NAME="DATASAVE" of fields from sample1. there is allways only 1 row of level 1. the level 2 <RECSET NAME="LXG_FIRMA"> must be created from a class. if we need new fields in level 2 we will add them to the class. There can be unlimited recset "LXG_Firma". sample2 will only be created as a new file. bool CreateSample2XML(string filename, SampleClass1 dataClass1, List<SampleClass2> dataClass2) Project will use .net 4 and VS 2012, please do comments Questions?
