Write a program which takes three parameters: A user name A hostname The name of a .exe file (max 255 characters) Your program should log into the machine as user@host, download the .exe file and also a .sha file (same name with .exe changed to .sha). It should then check that the sha digest of the file corresponds to the .sha file; if it checks, it should report success, otherwise it should erase the files and report failure. Since this executable will be run by the same process invoking this program, it will be running with admin privileges, so extreme care should be taken. All input should be validated, buffers cannot be overrun, etc. In addition, a compilable program will be expected. .pdf, .txt .doc .docx etc files will be graded as 0. Please submit a .c .cpp or similar.

Hi I am a Senior Software Engineer from Bangalore worked in reputed MNC for more than 10 Years. I have worked on many C and C++ projects. Have used Open SSL for SMIS client authentication. Bit new to sha digest. But its interesting project hence I can work on this if awarded. Few queries before I commit 1. I assume you are expecting the program to work on windows platform. Are you expecting to compile this program both for Win and Linux? 2. I assume the program will connect to the remote server to download a file using FTP protocol. If not let me know the protocol used for communication? 3. Are you decide on using the sha library to use for checking the digest? If yes, which one to use?
