Hi You have made a sound decision here. Computers crash all the time and data loss due to this may cost a lot. From your description it is difficult to understand your requirements. That is fine. If you have Microsoft Office documents like Excel, Word etc there are multiple ways to keep back ups. There are different solutions for backing up database such as Mysql. Other documents such as images, sound, video etc may also need backup. It all depends on the type of data you have.
