AdBar

We need you to develop an AdBar application that will sit on top of the desktop similar to FiestaBar or DesktopDollar etc for the windows OS (should work for atleaste XP, Vista and Windows7). Its placement should be user selectable, but covering atleaste two side (top-left, top-bottom, top-right ... etc). The content to be shown will be a set of html pages or short flash movies with text and/or images. It should be able to pull these content pages at regular intervals, from a specific server from the internet and store it securely in the local harddisk and then timely display them in the respective bars changing them [login to view URL] should start automatically along with windows start up. If clicked with the mouse on the content, then the application will launch the browser and go to a web link as defined in the content. Any application including the browser, opened on the windows desktop will have its size diminished to that of the borders of the AdBar, which means that the AdBar should be always visible. there should be some kind of monitoring of the keyboard or mouse to detect user presence on the PC. finally the time for which the content is shown should be logged and uploaded whenever there is availability of the internet. In case there is no internet for extended periods (few weeks) and if the application is not able to update its content, then it should block the running of the system, informing the user that content update is necessary to keep running the system. We expect this to be a really quick job for someone who has done it before. Infact we would prefer to get the work done by someone who has worked on such projects before. Please PM me for minor feature details. It will be done in VC++ and should have protection abilities that prevent its removal. Expected time for work is in the range of 2 weeks to 1 month.
