Position : Jr. Arc GIS Operater Software: AutoCAD-Map 2004, Arc-GIS 9.2, and Cetrix Web Interfrance. Responsibilities: Production & QC Incharge . · Understanding Venison Conversion Procedure document which involves various symbology and function of terminology like cables etc. · Identifying and executing the training requirements as per the production need. · Preparations of Daily Production Plans, Meeting the Schedules, various report for management. · Analyzing the reports from QC and taking the corrective and preventive actions. · Checking of entire submitted data and giving feedbacks. · Providing day-to-day status and reports to the project manager. Project Description: ESRI Arc Map & AutoCAD 2004 is the central application in ArcGIS Desktop used to conduct map-based tasks, map analysis, editing, and advanced Geographic editing and data creation for Landbase. This dataset contains all the data related to detail Survey done by surveyors. (Grid map, mdb) Finaly QC is done by QC Team. · Job allocation to subordinates. · Feeder Manager Configuration & Correction as per Electrical Network Diagram. · Conversion of Single Line Diagram in Auto Cad. Conversion of Street Light Mini Pole (SLMP). · Digitization of HT & LT Cables as per Network in Auto Cad & ArcGIS. Digitization of Electrical Features (EHV Receiving Stn. DT - Distribution Transformer, Sub Station Pillar, Busbar, Circuit Breaker, Service Point, Switch, Fuse) in Auto Cad & ArcGIS. · Digitization of Maps & Detail Drawing. (Updation) QC of GIS Related Documents. Landbase Updation Responsibilities: · Identifying and executing the training requirements as well as identifying infrastructure requirements as per the pilot production. · Analyzing the source data from the client and understanding the customer's requirements. · Database design as per the customer requirements. · Preparing the requirements both infrastructure and manpower requirements. · Preparing the task as well as work instructions for the production processes. · Interacting with the client on day-to-day basis on various issues. · The project Development Plan has three phases. · Digitization of the survey Numbers in city maps supplied by the client. · Edge matching of the city boundaries. · Preparation of the Database like Land Use details, supplied in various forms · Preparation of Base Map and Land Use Themes on Target system (Arc View) The project is basically designing and implementation of GIS for Mumbai development authority. The digitization of the maps has been done in AutoCAD Map. The digitization process includes the digitization of Survey numbers, rods and buildings etc. the digitized maps design are imported to AutoCAD map and prepared different overlays like parcels, roads, building, Annotation, etc. created the different attribute Id's for the land use features in the overlays. The database is prepared in MS Access or Geo Database, which includes the extracting the data from the maps supplied by client.
