I need a designer who can design a book. This book will be a book that you see on [url removed, login to view] or any bookstore. ================ Here's what I need: ================ 1) The designer must be a "book-designer". I'll want to see at least a few examples of previous books--and NOT brochures. So unless you're a book-designer, please don't quote a price on this bid. 2) The designer must have a good command over English. This is to ensure that they know where to break the sentence and understand what needs to be done. 3) The designer must be working in Indesign (preferably Indesign CS3), though Indesign CS or CS2 is fine as well. ================ What I will provide: ================ 1) A layout in PDF of what I expect the book to look like. This means you don't have to do any design, but mostly make sure the book is laid out in a manner that's ready for printing. This means there's not a lot of designing to be done, and a person capable in laying out books, should be able to get this job done quickly, because I already have a clear idea, with clear layout in place. (I will give this pdf design to you once I choose you as the person to do the job) 2) I will also provide the fonts and graphics/ illustrations required for the project. 3) I will provide the text for the book. ================ Specs for the book ================= 1) The book will be approximately a5 (about 230mm x 185 mm) 2) It will be printed on an offset press eventually, so an artwork will be needed. 3) The book will be about 200 pages long. If you need to ask any more questions, please feel free to do so.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
