We are a technology startup based in New York City. We're beta launching an iPhone app in the coming weeks; the app is a new type of photo sharing service. We're looking for a creative Copywriter to edit our current App Store description and to revise, create content on our website and create searchable content for our brand. Your responsibilities: - Edit App Store description based on the direction and creative brief provided by our team. - Revise and develop high-quality content for our website based on direction provided by our team; our site currently includes content but we need someone to make our site more compelling. - Write creative copy including headlines, taglines, positioning statements and feature copy for articles, web content, emails, training materials, direct marketing materials and more. - Ad-hoc writing projects as they arise. - This could become an on-going project based on results and budget. Your qualifications: - Exceptional writing (AP style), grammar, spelling and formatting. - Open to native English writers only. - Expertise in web copy, SEO, and online (email) marketing a plus. - An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates an ability to create compelling copy for a wide variety of brands, audiences and industries. - Varied experiences writing App Store Descriptions and/or developing content for websites. - A complete Elance profile. - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred. - BA/BS degree required. - US members only.
