Animator for a comedic webseries

I'm a Chicago-based comedian (iO, Second City, the Annoyance) and writer looking to collaborate with an animator on a webseries called Fly Girls.

The Project:

Fly Girls is an animated webseries about two stoned faeries who grant wishes that always end in an existential nightmare despite their best intentions. My favorite television show is Rick and Morty so this series consequentially is equal parts dark and bizarre. The episodes are each 1-3 minutes long and I'd like to have 8 episodes completed by the fall. Fly Girls will be released online and submitted to festivals like NYTVF.

About Me:

I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2013 but I've been writing and improvising in Chicago since I was 19. My past work includes a farce called Sister Jesus Christ that premiered at iO; Tribulation:The Musical, a full length heretical musical with a run at NY Fringe Fest this summer; Purity Ball: A Father Daughter Fuck Fest, a musical that will premier at The Annoyance this fall; and the webseries Not Friends, a project funded by the University of Chicago Arts Council. My plays have been Reader Recommended, featured in top 5 annual lists, and once a guy drove 5 hours to see a show twice. That guy was the fucking best.

About Us:

Before we begin a working relationship I'd like to share a few scripts with you and have you share some of your work with me. It's important to me that we are both excited about the project so no hurt feelings if it just isn't your style. I'd like our work to be collaborative so you have input on the stories and characters and not just the animation. The actual writing and editing will always fall to me but I'd love to hear your ideas.
