Prepare this persons’s 2014 income tax return using the ATO’s (Australia) E-Tax 2014 software package

In submitting 2014 income tax return it is required to tick the following options in E-Tax’s print options:

Tax return pages;

Supplement to the tax return;

Rental property schedule;

Capital gains tax schedule;

Schedules of additional information;

Tax calculation;

Worksheets;

Capital gains worksheets; and

Depreciation worksheets.

Printing Instructions:

please make sure that you include E-Tax’s capital gains tax worksheet.

Whilst we assess the overall net capital gain numbers contained in Item 18 of the tax

return, if these numbers are wrong, then we will look at the CGT worksheet.

If you do not attach the CGT worksheet, then we will not be able to assess.

Please note that in respect of Part A, it will be assessed not just on the correct

amounts entered into E-Tax, but whether the amounts have been entered at the correct

items in the income tax return. In other words, even though a correct amount is

entered into E-Tax, to get the mark, it must be entered into the correct item in the tax

return (eg. Item D5 Work Related Deductions).

If the amount entered is wrong, no points will be awarded. Furthermore, if the correct

amount is entered at the wrong label in the tax return, no points will be awarded.
