Business Ethics Home Assignment

NOTE THAT ONLY ONE OF THE ASSIGNMENTS SHOULD BE DONE: Option 1. You will have the task to fill out a questionnaire (see uploaded below) on business ethics practices at a company of your choice either in person or electronically (the company can be located in Hungary or elsewhere). The completed questionnaire as well as an approx. 2000 words long company analysis will need to be handed in. The company analysis should include: 1) a stakeholder analysis (analysis of company ethical or unethical behaviour with regard to different stakeholders), 2) a SWOT analysis of overall company CSR, sustainalibilty, and ethical performance, and 3) a recommended action plan for the company on how to improve ethical performance and become a more sustainable business organisation, including justifications for your recommendations. Option 2. You can choose any company that satisfies the following criteria: an ethical wrongdoing has been published about the company in the last five years + has a CSR section on its webpage + has sustainability report published in the last five years (ex: Siemens, Yahoo, McDonalds, BP, etc.) Based on the analysis of secondary data you will need to evaluate the company’s practice of CSR, sustainability and ethics.
