This contest is to provide a custom sample design of a book chapter in Adobe Indesign using the content I provide (the images, text, and pedigrees attached to this contest). The entry should be submitted to the contest as a .pdf file. I want to hire you for the separate book project if you win.

Project
A very important element of the contest entry is to provide a bid for the project to design two books. In the Freelancer comment area of your entry, indicate the amount of your bid between $250 and $1000 USD. Also, provide a time estimate up to four months of work. Your bid will be judged as well as the pdf chapter.

View the attached ‘Project Description.pdf’ document for details on the book project, including the quantity of images, text (words), and pedigrees in the project.

If you are not interested in the book project, do NOT enter this contest.

Contest Entry versus Project
The contest entry sample is for one chapter only, without a book cover. The project bid is for two (similar) book designs, complete with book cover designs. If you win the contest, I will hire you at your bid price (through freelancer.com) to design the books.

Late Note: This contest is somehow locked in to only allow entries to be submitted as images. You can export the chapter from Indesign as an image, or send me the pdf in the chat feature to correspond to the token image for your entry. Sorry for the complication.

Thank you to all who provided entries. I tried to make this an abbreviated sample chapter so it would be less work for you. You all presented good ideas. Any of you that I rated 5 stars would have been good enough for me. It looked like #11 was winning the votes on facebook and in the freelancer poll star rating by the Hardle people who were willing to vote. Then #16 came along and votes changed to that one. Thank you for your efforts.

Hello Satish. For the book project, I need the pdf in a format that blurb.com will accept for printing. I also need the source files for the future if I need to make corrections or add new material. I need it in Adobe Indesign because that is the application I am familiar with if I am going to edit it in the future. Blurb.com's plugin for Indesign is optional if you can still get the page sizes and format correct for submission to the printer (Blurb.com).

Dear Sir, I have 18 years exp. of design and print all types book and magazine. Can I create your book inner page design and layout according the pages size in In Design software without using a software "Blurb" ? I just need text, images or Page size chapter wise and paper Gsm !
