<Technology Description>
This technology relates to the locking mechanism for the power supply plug of the plug-in hybrid vehicle, and in particular, to deal with the failure of an electric locking mechanism that switches, using a motor, between a locked state in which the power supply plug cannot be removed from the inlet for the power supply plug and an unlocked state in which the power supply plug can be removed from the inlet for the power supply plug.
One of the problems when the electric lock mechanism that switches between the locked and unlocked states using the motor fails is that if the electric lock mechanism fails in the locked state, the power supply plug may not be removed from the inlet.
To solve this problem, in an electric lock mechanism that switches between a locked state and an unlocked state by moving a lock bar with a motor, an operating member such as a wire provided inside of a vehicle is connected to the lock bar, and the unlocked state can be achieved by operating the operating member from inside of the vehicle.
