Hello! I work for a company that manufactures insecticides for use on livestock animals. We will be distributing newsletters to our customers and I am looking to have a logo designed for the newsletter. The title will be Pest SPECs. The word "Pest" is obvious because we are dealing with insect pests, but SPECs has dual meaning. SPEC is an acronym for Swine, Poultry, Equine, and Cattle, which are our target industries. The other meaning of SPECs is that it can be inferred as short for specifications. Specifications are detailed descriptions, precise identifications, or standards. I hope with this newsletter to give detailed information, or specs, about the insects that plague our customer's animals and ultimately lead them to purchase our products. I have drawn up something in Word that is similar to what I am looking for, but please don't feel it is ALL I am looking for - please use your creativity, especially if you have a better idea. Also, grant me grace on the picture I attached- I'm a scientist. My only request is that the animals stay in the logo. I will explain the intended meaning of SPEC in our first edition, but I want it to make sense to anyone who picks up an issue. Another thing to add is that our two most common pests are house flies and darkling beetles. They need to be anatomically correct if included, but I can help you with that if needed. Thank you!

As a note to contributors, animals (Pig, chicken, horse, cattle) should be included in the logo. No other animals should be included (ie. cats, dogs). S stands for swine, or pigs. P is for poultry, or chickens. E is for equine, or horses. C is for cattle, or cows.

  Also, no rodents, such as mice/rats, no birds, no bees. Insects (or pests) included in the logo should be limited to flies and beetles. These are just my first thoughts after looking through these first submissions. I see some potential in a few submissions.
