I manage my family's masonry business. We named it AVEX Masonry (AVEX: combining the first letter of every person's name in my family). The company is only 1 year old, but we have managed to build a small reputation locally and are looking to expand. That is why one of the first things I'd like to upgrade is the company logo. I am looking for something catchy and triggering. Something that people will easily recognize eventually. I have attached the current logo we've been using in the past year. It is decent but it can be better. I love innovation and as a masonry company that's exactly what we do- we transform old backyards to enjoyable living spaces. Feel free to send me questions as we go along and I will do my best to answer all of them. As a business, we rely on these principals: "Honesty, Credibility & Quality). Our official colors are brown and orange.

if you already have some local customers who know your business and logo, I don't think you should change it. they will think that you do not trust your services enough and its change will probably have an impact on current customers. from my point of view, this is a good logo, simple and quite easy to recognize, it also has the acronyms M and A in it. The color combination comes in handy.

  I appreciate your insight. It makes sense, however it is basic and I am looking to make the change now (in the second year), so we can continue building a stronger brand. I am sure the freelancer community have and more innovative ideas to help me build a more welcoming logo.
