Jack and Mr. Muggles
Jack is 2 years old. Mr. Muggles is Jack’s 1 year old brother.
Want to see an illustration of a kitchen with a closeup of the oven.
Jack is standing by the oven and leaning over and looking in the oven window as he says:
“Hot! Hot!”
“Mommy, why is the oven hot? Why can’t it be cold?”
The next page is an illustration of the mom in the kitchen answering the question, saying:
“Well Jack, the oven is hot because it bakes yummy food like chocolate cookies. Is Mr. Muggles hungry?”
