Síntese do concurso

I´m a photographer working in the commercial area (interiors, architecture, product) and creative photography (advertising and other projects) and mainly for companies or agencies.
I would like to have a logo with my name: André Boto.
The logo should be used in the most different supports like business cards, website, proposals, etc.

Some important ideas to follow:
-Horizontal orientation
-Sophisticated
-Keep it cleaver/simple
-Easy to read in different sizes
-Connection to design
-Modern but must pass an image of credibility, premium services
-Graphic elements can be used but the viewers should understand the reason of their presence
-Use just one font for the words and not a common font/style
-One or two colors (maximum). I prefer neutral colors based in black or greys. A mix between black and grey can be good
-Should work in negative, inverting the colors
-The background should be a solid color without any type of gradients (white is a good option).
-Usable for a long time

Please don't use:
-Don't use obvious elements related to photography like cameras, tripos, film or aperture blades.
-Don't use Vivid colors
-No more than two colors
-No serif or script fonts

I´m not sure about:
Use a version with ".com" to allow the users to go to the website, but if the logo works go for both uses with and without the ".com" maybe it´s a good thing.

I would like to receive PSD and JPEG files at the end.

I already saw all the entries and I rejected the entries that really don´t meet with what I have in mind.

By the ratings I rated my favorite images or the images where I think there are some good ideas.

I liked some ideas using the letters "A" and "B" and I´m liking the idea about having a logo using a design with the two letters (A + B) interacting and the presence of the complete name (André Boto) all together.

About the colors I saw, I will consider logos using black and white (including greys) and the presence of the blue. From all entries I feel the blue it´s the only color that fit with the idea of modernity and something futuristic.

I liked design lines and forms and clever interactions of the letters but always keeping the logo in something simple. So, I tried to avoid hand righting all the time.
