I would like to hire a freelancer to illustrate my Children's Book about a long haired chihuahua named Zoey. Zoey is overcoming her fear of heights.
This is my 2nd time around. The first person I chose/award, did such a good job but has not been been reachable since. I am looking for someone who can illustrate something similar. I want this book to be done as soon as possible.

This contest is to help find the perfect illustrator for the book which is 29 pages plus Cover/Back.

Here is a page from the book. Create an illustration with it.. (I am her mommy in the book)

Zoey is standing with her mommy on Bear Mountain and admiring the view. Her mommy hugged her and told her, “I love you, my little Zoey Bear. You were so brave today!”

I would like Zoey and myself to look semi-real as on the example illustrations below..
I am targeting the book to be for 3-7 years old kids. I would like something different than all the other book illustrations out there so be creative. Let me know if you have any more questions.

  Hey Lara, thoughts were that the pop up and Roy Licherstine was to hard for the kids to understand. So I am going for something more like what Ive attached from the last artist. But of course in your own form.

Hi - thank you for your brief description, but you need to make it clear what it is your expecting to receive from this contest and what it is you're expecting us to do for the prize money. Currently all I really understand from what you've written is that you want yourself and the dog run up as characters for the book - just the one image for $100 USD. Is this correct?

how many sheets should be illustrated for the end of the book ?, These 100 usd are for the whole book ?, I really could not call "illustration" to what was done by the previous designer ... rather it is like a photo retouch ... sounds interesting your book ... I'm intrigued a little ...
