  thank you - the reason i ask is when notes are completed the it needs to be printed hence why it needs dynamic boxes - so when printed you can see

     I see... We can make a separate sheet for printing so the variables and tickboxes won't show when printing... And the cell height will auto adjust too...

  yes i can see the manual button, thats good, but what happens when you write to much and does not fit within the box? can we make the excel field auto expand and visa versa? this is vital as some notes a long and some are short so the field need to have a way of accommodating this

     you have to click the pencil button to see and edit the complete note. It is possible to autofit the height of the note in the sheet but it wouldn't look good..

  Could you also please confirm we can add a easy to add comments box to include free hand notes that once we check the box it will add to the main section.

     I actually added a manual edit button that you click when you are done with the auto generated notes and want to add manually. Will that be okay?

  i have to work it out but it would be maybe 10-15 per section + it would need to have a easy to update method as well - as long as this is possible we can update our note template with your formula with 10-15 per section and i will provide you with the phrases for each scenario to add until finally we have our note template updated with a working version but thus far your method the best i have seen.

     15 x 15 sounds good. Actually, I made it that you don't need to change formulas to change the phrases. the format is linked to the formula so when changing the format, the formula will change also. I won't need to write a formula for every single format.

  i like this method - as there is many different section there would need to be more check boxes and a lot more sentences required, question i have is how easy is it to add new sentences and check boxes?
