I have a B.A. in English and taught English at secondary school for four years in Auckland, New Zealand, followed by two years teaching English as a second language. My relevant work experience includes copy editing for Elsevier Science Publishers, the International Journal of Wellbeing, the New Zealand Blind Foundation, and the Aegis Trust. I have been transcribing for more than 18 years, most recently with DTI Global. I have edited e-newsletters for two community organizations. I am the secretary of an Auckland heritage group, for which I write numerous submissions, mostly to the local council. I have also presented submissions orally and have recently extended my skill set on Freelancer to offer voice recordings for language schools and the like. My husband's and son's voices are also available for hire. We can send voice samples on request.

“Audrey has worked with me over the course of my master's as a phenominal copy-editor. I fully credit her for helping raise the marks I receive because she gets rid of all typos, mistakes, things you would have never noticed! Also, she can help a lot with wording, formating and referencing. She went above and beyond in communicating and adjusting to my schedule of deadlines and procrastinations! Thank you, Audrey, and I hope we work together on something again in the future. Take care! :)”
