I have a very simple go application, made by a freelance who closed his account. No the script is malfunctioning and I need a Golang expert The application basically reads a log file, scans it for a string, and sends emails accordingly. Eventually, it logs the last point scanned in the file. The application functions well most of the time but sometimes causes some chaos due to small errors. I have experience using golang and several other programming languages. The project can be completed in a day, but 3 days as worst case scenario. The malfunction will most possibly be caused by edge cases not properly being handled which I can fix and write unit tests to accompany it so you can always be sure that your application is in good working condition at any point in time.
