Hello, I am looking for a video editor who can edit filmed interviews for a beginner technology video series. The videos are 15-40mins long (depending on the guest and content) and I would like to add an opening and closing sequence to the interviews with detail of the guest's names. The videos will be in the same format as these videos: [login to view URL] Videos will be edited for longer form (for YouTube), and also cut into shorter forms for other social channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc. The videos will be part of a longer series, and I hope to work with an individual on an ongoing basis, and not just a once-off. REQUIREMENT: Please provide examples or links of video editing work you have done for past projects. Thanks, Lucy.

Hi I have graduated with a Diploma in Filming and Video Technology at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). I always had a dream of becoming a video editor. I believe this job will help me get a step closer towards my dream of becoming a professional video editor, as I am a highly organized individual with history of reliability and also with determination and passion in filming and its different departments. After my graduation I managed to enhance my filming skills by enrolling myself for more practical practices, and in that journey I have earned some other experiences and some knowledge. I have enrolled myself for multiple short courses which I believe they will help me through my journey of achieving my dream. These short courses were: Video Editing, Camera and Light and Social Media Marketing. With all the above mentioned steps that I took as well as the nature of my studies at CPUT they had prepared me well for a job like this one.
