Hi, As many years of experience in CFD, I can accomplish your project of intake manifold simulation within 7 days. I can handle entire of project from cad modeling (with Catia V5), mesh generation (with ICEM-CFD), to CFD simulation (with Ansys Fluent V15), and optimization (with mesh morpher module in Ansys Fluent). Hello, Most automotive spark-ignition engines produced today have port fuel injection. Injector placement is an important design consideration. Because of the objective of rapid fuel vaporization, the injector is placed to spray the fuel against the back surface of the intake valve head. Flow uniformity between cylinders is another important design parameter. Uniformity is impacted both by the air flow path through the intake manifold and by pressure pulse interactions from adjacent cylinders. In general, nonuniformities can be minimized by using equal-length runners feeding into a large plenum chamber. Intake manifolds have generally been cast from grey iron or aluminum. More recently, reinforced plastic is increasingly used. In order to maximize performance over a wider speed range, four- and five-valve engines have sometimes used different runner lengths and separate ports.
