Currently I have a Python script that uses ODBC to transfer data from SQL Server to Access. I now need to remove the Python script and handle the data load from Access. With ODBC it must truncate the Timestamp value before inserting into Access. The reasoning for this is that 90% of the Access rows have the same value. SQL Server (Timestamp) Access (Text 50) 0x000000000189CF01 003F49 0x000000000189D001 003F69 0x0000000001B54DFF 003F6D 0x0000000001F74701 003F4E 0x000000000189C003 003F70 The Access value is retrieved for the rows using the below: Hex(Asc(Mid(Stamp,1, 1))) & Hex(Asc(Mid(Stamp,2, 1))) & Hex(Asc(Mid(Stamp,3, 1))) & Hex(Asc(Mid(Stamp,4, 1))) As the Access column is Text 50 I have loaded the text representation of the timestamp value i.e.: 0x000000000189CF01 0x000000000189D001 0x0000000001B54DFF 0x0000000001F74701 0x000000000189C003 I now need an update statement to convert it into the exact same value that ODBC uses so that when I do the select it comes out as: 003F49 003F69 003F6D 003F4E 003F70

I am curious of the way the timestamp is being converted into hexadecimal and unsure if you use the UNIX or MAC hexadecimal for dates conversion.
