SEO for niche site

Hey everyone! I've got a project for someone who has a lot of experience with SEO. I have a micro niche site and want to get my main keyword to the 1st position. I am currently ranked 7-8th on the 1st page so this shouldn't be ridiculously hard. It's a lower competition keyword as well so it shouldn't be a very hard task.
