Job Purpose of the Web Developer JYZ Design is looking to grow and we are looking for people to grow with us. The successful applicant with be tasked mainly with Web Development. The position will involve coding the backend of websites – fixing bugs, adjusting CSS and small customizations to plugins. They will be responsible for working with the web design and copywriting team. Looking for a Wordpress wizard to fix bugs, adjust CSS and customize functionality for one startup web application website AND all our other dozens of websites. Essential Criteria for the Web Developer - Experience with Wordpress is critical for the Web Developer. We utilizes this platform in the majority of cases. - Modifying current sites is a requirement. - Experience with HTML, PHP and CSS. - The successful candidate must be able to follow instructions closely - Speed of finish projects promptly is key, able to meet deadlines and correctly estimate workload - Good communication, project updates - Experience with creating websites with SEO in mind is an asset - Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs is an asset - High Degree of Professionalism Salary: Negotiable, commiserate with experience Job Type: Freelance Required experience: Web Development: 3 years To be hired as a member of our team, you will go through some (paid) work to start with as tests and a skype interview. I like Wordpress very much!!!4 Clients of Wordpress websites always asked a lot of customization for purchased templates, so I did much work to adjust sites for their requirements doing PHP programming for e-mail subscriptions, pop-ups alerts, not standard registration forms and complicated pop-up menus. Which of the required job skills do you feel you are strongest at? - I feel 100% confident to accomplish this job in time, with high quality and following all your requirements even if they are too specific or complicated. Which part of this project do you think will take the most time? - The easiest part is to setup wordpress and launch site as is it can be done for 5 minutes. The most difficult is to apply changes if they beyond the theme customization options. I feel excited to get this job. My rate can be adjusted, because this is only the second job on upwork so I mostly work for getting feedback. I am very flexible in working time and communications.
