I am an enthusiastic and passionate learner, I thrive on hard work and I am an ingenious web developer who likes to improve, learn and apply knowledge to solve problems to further my skills as a web developer. From an early age I was interested in the field of web development. At 12 years of age I was already intuitively learning (x)HTML, CSS and PHP I also consulted some tutorials online. This motivated me to pursue a further career in web development and learn as much as I could while managing my own time and following a self-planned structure to learn independently. Due to my exceptional enthusiasm and skills when I was studying to obtain the Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence in Computing, I was accepted to form part of a paid studentship programme working at the “Loterie Romande” in Switzerland. During this time I was able to demonstrate my organisational skills and time management as I always met deadlines with enough time, both academically and professionally. These four years of academic and professional experience made me aware of the importance of object-oriented programming to maintain organisation, order and clarity in the source code of projects as well as the time savings represented by the use of frameworks such as Zend Framework, Symfony or Laravel Framework.
