I have a client who wants to sell t-shirts on his website. I am looking for somebody who really knows e-commerce well. This has to be a custom integratsion, so not just a Paypal button, not Woo Commerce, and not some type of pre-packed junk like Wix or whatever.
Each part of the project and each major development task, will have it's own milestones and sometimes their own project.
-- Order Process --
WEBSITE ORDER
I. Customer selects shirt [design, style, size, color]
II. Shirt is added to the cart confirmation, then customer can choose to…
1) Continue Shopping (Customer goes to designs page)
2) Checkout (Continue with Step III)
CHECKOUT
III. Items in Cart displayed, then Customer info form
1) Email (email is username) / Create Password & Confirm PW
* Confirm email sent to customer automatically
2) Name / Ship-to Address / City / State / Zip
3) Phone
4) Opt-in Newsletter & Promo
IV. Customer billing details form
1) Name on credit card
2) Billing Address
* Checkbox option to use same-as-shipping address
3) Card # / Expiration Date / Security Code CCV
V. Order & Billing information shown for customer to review details
1) Edit order (Customer goes back to Step III)
2) Confirm order (Customer goes to Step VI)
PROCESS ORDER
VI. Upon order confirm, payment is processed by website.
Upon payment success…
1) Order confirmation email thanking Customer
2) Order notification email to orders@[login to view URL]
3) Order details to [Printful] (passed along via API)
4) Order and customer info added to database
5) Customer order page created so customer can login to check order status
VII. Order at [Printful]
1) Process payment for order [from company Square account]
2) [Printful] prints the order
3) [Printful] ships the order
4) Auto email notices sent to customer, and to vanlifeshirts
5) Shipping info added to database order
VIII. Customer can now login to view order Shipping Info (ship date, tracking number)
IX. Customer receives shirt
* Delivery notice sent to website, updates database with order delivery
X. Followup emails sent to the customer [from our website]
1) Thanks for order, plus links to FAQ and Return Policy
2) Review & Rate VLS / Share VLS
3) Link to Deals
4) Link to New Design
5) Discount code for ordering again (good for 30 days)
XI. Followup and reminders email in 5 days and 10 days, with same info as Step X
