Create search bar

All information required is in the description Thank you in advance:) Hi, I previously had a search bar added to my website but the previous developer left it unfinished and caused several bugs.I have restored my website to the original but I have the backup saved of the website wit the bar. I would like the search bar imported again without causing any bugs and also some slight adjustments. Currently there are two accounts on my website, employer and freelancer. Similar to freelancer.com The search bar is only displayed on home page, when user is not logged in I would also like it to appear when employer is logged in and when employer is logged in. I would like the flow to be: No user is signed in. Selects skill from search bar > clicks post a job button> if user is registered should go to "Post Job" form with the skill filled in. > If user is not registered> registration form> once registered > post a job form with the skill filled in. When employer loged in, I woud like search bar present on homepage. When skill is selected in search bar > post a project > post job form with skill filled in. When freelancer logged in > Select skill from the search bar > click find job> land on search jobs page with skill filled in. Also, the bar was different size on different browsers so would like the width of the bar corrected Finally when you click in the search bar, the drop down list appears but it is only displaying skills which have an "a" in the name. Instead I would like all the skills listed when the box is clicked in.
