Custom Attribute Display and Upload for Zen Cart

I several websites built on the Zen Cart platform and for the products on them they work fine. However I have a new type of product I am working on that would need several design changes made to our existing template. What I am looking for is modifications to our existing template that would allow for items to be added with attributes. While I know how to do this with Zen, I need quite a bit of customization to my existing template. I would like to add items where there are multiple colors but instead of the standard drop box I would like it to show color choices for that item. But not the standard way Zen shows with radio buttons. I would like the color choices to be "swatches" of the color based on a picture assigned to them. When you hover over the swatch it would display the name of the color associated with that attribute. Also when you click on the color the price displayed needs to change based on the full price for that attribute. In addition to this, if a picture is defined in the attribute for this item/color choice, the main picture should change to that new picture assigned to the attribute, but if no picture is assigned then do nothing. The second part of this template change is with our existing EZ Populate module, which already has some paid customization to it that can not change. The changes to this module is that the upload needs to be done so that it adds all the attributes to the item through this upload feature. While I understand that attribute names and values need to be added in for the combinations to work, I would like for the upload to add the combinations in to the option name and value tables if they don't currently exist. If that is not possible then a simple way to upload the attribute names and values through a separate upload would be fine, but prefer just one upload if it can be done. I have attached photo examples of how we want the color "swatches" to display. It must be programmed to show these color swatches in whatever the size of the photo loaded on the server should be. It will be up to us to make sure they are all the same size for that product. The reason for this is while this group of products we are currently working on is colors, down the line it may be sizes in which case we might have to show larger photos. We are looking for this to be done as soon as possible, of course. Looking for an programmer with extensive Zen Cart training for this project. There are other projects in the pipeline for the future that will likely be coming very soon once this is done.
