Create a WordPress Template

Goal like to have an already purchased theme customized as close as possible to Netflix's, Happy New Year Theme Maniac I purchased ([login to view URL] ) theme, I love its look and feel however my requirements are not to sell products, but to showcase local events within my community ( art shows, book reading, garage sales etc. And this is where my main problem comes into play, I'm not able to do so because its an e-commerce plugin and not an events plugin. The above plugin comes with Visual composer and Woocommerce Woocommerce does have a plugin for events but that plug in is limited with regards to its attributes ( so for example some events have a start date and and end date but have varying start times or multiple events within those dates, Woo commerces event plugin does not have this functionality. So I selected to use Events Manager ([login to view URL]) instead of the Woo commerce plugin because it has a feature rich attributes, however if there is another plugin that you deem sufficient I will definitely take a look at it. Also a key feature is for me the principle user, a user friendly method to add all these events if at all possible, an entry screen that is clear and clean to enter all these events. The adding the events will be done manually and not from some kind of API, I think in this manner it helps reduce costs, plus it also allows me to build a base However, I would like the template to be as simple as Netflix in terms of navigation, ease of use etc, etc. Also here is a link to my WP website [login to view URL] Essentially when you look at the the link I sent you, I was aiming to alter the merchandiser home page to look like the Netflix home page. I know youre asking then why buy the theme, I liked the them however, my goal is to have a website that is so simple to navigate through, and Netflix is a prime example of this, because within three clicks you get the information/product you need. and my demographic are all senior citizens so for them a less complicated sight fits the bill, the easier the better for them. I've attached 5 screenshots, hopefully this helps, It's how I envision my target market would navigate or find what it is they need. So, ideally I would like to have my website work in the following manner: Image 1, There is a Hero banner at the top, and immediately there is a list of all the events listed on the front page, and just like the image when you scroll down there are events listed and broken down in subcategories, such as the captured in the Netflix image. Second Image, I believe has a capture of the menu, which lists the main categories, Which I would also love, Simple listing. Third image, Assuming one clicks on any of the main categories listed in image 2, in this example clicked on Comedy, it brings you to the comedy categories as shown, and on the left side it lists all the subcategories of that section. Fourth image, is still of the comedy section, but I'd like to direct you to the right corner that showcases the filter menu, which is based on Most viewed, or highest rated etc. Final image, would be the selection of the event, and it would be shown in the manner of the Merchandise theme, all the while using Event Espresso.
