Convert a Template to a Website

Simple and fast job: Import 53MB Blogger Back Up in Wordpress.
I'm trying to import the .xml file from my blogger back up (53mb) to my new wordpress installation on a Godaddy Cpanel.
Problem seems to be the limit on upload_max_filesize and post_max_size since the importer is just giving me that error most of the times and sometimes just a 404 error showing my default theme. I have tried another importers plugins (not just the default) and same problem.
I need you to split the .XML file in several small ones so wordpress can complete the import. Another solution could be modify the [url removed, login to view] to increase the limits but not sure if godaddy is allowing to edit this file since is a shared hosting.
Of course i'm open to any other solutions you might suggest. If you're reading this please reply with the keyword IMPORTBLOG so i can be sure you actually took the time to read it.
