This is for a commercial for a personal injury law firm. Background: So, a few years ago we did a spot titled “Car Wreck Blues” and it was a big hit because it was Richard and a blues man singing. We’re looking to do another spot like that but with a jingle. We had a band reach out to us and they have come up with a jingle for us. We’re going to shoot 2 commercials with them using the jingle. I’ve attached it for you for reference. NOTE: We are not married to this jingle completely. We like the ending where they go into the “one call” but the beginning we think could be stronger. The character, situation, etc. and could change that up. I’d like to do two situations ideally. Lyrics to the jingle: Little Ruby went out, walking her dog, all of a sudden she heard some tires squall. Saw a fender bender right before her eyes. A woman jumped out and said who do I call? Richard Schwartz. One call. One call. One call. One Call, That’s all. Ideas/concepts thrown out: 1. Richard said something about him trying to play the drums and being terrible while on set with the band. Then he looks up and says something to the effect: “I can’t play the drums (whatever instrument) but I can help you if you’ve been in a car accident.” This one needs some more to it. What do you think? 2. Doing the situation in the jingle 3. Have the band playing the jingle and somehow Richard interact with them. 4. New idea????? What we need: 2 scripts/concepts. (:15 seconds and :30 seconds for both concepts) - First concept: We’ll be doing the commercial in front of a green screen. - Second concept: Shooting outside/different location/on a stage?. (Currently scouting for that) I would like to do a different setting for this one but not sure what/where. Open to your ideas. The commercial is next Wednesday so I need to have this finalized and finished before then if possible. Thanks!
