City Wide Motor Vehicle Annual Registration and Monitoring System with SMS Monitoring/Reporting

My Project is a Vehicle Registration System for New and Renewal ( Annual ) of License with SMS Monitoring and Reporting. Project Description: The Aim of this project is to build an web application for the Automation of the manual registration for new or renewal of permits to operate of public motorcycle vehicles. Aside from automating the filling of forms with photo capturing of the vehicles and issuing and printing permits and receipts the system must also give confirmation message with the validation code generated by the system to the owner of the vehicle via sms. The system can also receives reports of violations of the vehicle from the public. Violation reports via sms will be placed in an inbox messages for the particular vehicle (example of sms message: 112343( Validation Code of the vehicle) Reckless( violation report) and send it to 999999999 (mobile number of the system). Enforcers can also send messages to the system once the message was received by the system, the system then will send back confirmation message to the enforcer if the registration of the vehicle is valid or not. The system can also set an appointment to the owner of the vehicle a week before the expiration of its registration reminding the owner that his/her registration is about to expire on a particular date and he/she must proceed to the registration office on the date generated by the system for his/her renewal of registration. Components: 1. Android Tablets - for encoding or filling up the forms, pictures 2. Desktop Server - OS linux with apache,mysql,sms messages, reports etc 3. SMS Gateway 4. Desktop PC for monitoring of registration 5. WiFi Router - for wireless connectivity 6. Epson dot matrix printers - for printing of receipts
