This project is about fetching a few rows from an external website, putting them into a database, and then displaying them. It consists of three functions: 1. Define a list of companies's usernames and passwords in the database that will be used to login to an external website. There needs to be a UI to add, edit and remove this information from the database. 2. For each company in the database, log into an external website, fetch some rows/numbers (web scraping from a complicated javascript enabled page) and put those figures into a database. The project will need to login through a single-sign-on login form, maintain the authentication, extract numbers/rows from a page with complicated javascript, then put that into a database. 3. Display a secure website and on one page for all companies, show the figures and simple bar graph. [login to view URL] is an example of the data that is needed to be fetched from the external website. Note: The authentication (with cookies, sessions etc) with the external website may be complex, and the javascript the external website uses to show the data may be complex.
