I already have a software which recognizes car plates in realtime and send signal to a usb port when the car plate is correct, but the only source of image nowadays is a usb camera. What I want is that the software can be possible to work with all kinds of camera, like IP CAMERA (ONVIF PROTOCOL), CAMERAS CONNECTED TO A VIDEO BOARD, and so on. On the screen in which appers the realtime video, I also want to be able to select a rectangle, so if this rectangle is selected, the programming code will only try to read the characters inside the rectangle. This rectangle selection can be unmade in any moment. This software will be installed in many computers, but when installing it, the software must ask for a serial number. After the serial number is written, it must connect to the internet to check if the serial number is available. If no internet connection is available, the installation is canceled. Only 1 serial number per installation is allowed.
