A simple python module to interface with blogging platforms. The two largest APIs are the Blogger API and the MetaWeblog API. I have seen some existing python implementations out there, and I know Google provides sample Blogger implementations, but I need to put them together under a single framework. The requirements for the library are: * Must directly support the following blogging platforms: Blogger, WordPress, LiveJournal, TypePad, MovableType, as well as any generic form of either the Blogger API or MetaWeblog API. * Must handle (secure if available) authentication for all of the supported platforms. This includes Google/Blogger authentication. * Ability to: Create a new post, Edit an existing post, Retrieve an existing post, and List recent posts * Library should take title, link, description/content, as well as any additional xml to be inserted in the entry. It will build the structs internally, taking UTF8 strings as input (or a dict of utf8). * All data returned should be in python dicts, UTF8. Let me know if I have left anything out. I always give bonuses for people who are honest with me and work to create a solid piece of software.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Python 2.5 on 32-bit Linux I expect you to use the xmlrpc module extensively. It should not be difficult to implement the two APIs yourself, but please state whether you will be using existing libraries besides the default python ones. If that's the case I need to know which ones so I can review their licenses.
