I am looking for a good quality flight website using web 2.0 / ajax functionality.
This site must track ticket prices and link to the airlines web sites below. (Frequency has to be fairly often)
It must allow for airlines/flight sites to xml feed in flight data if they wish.
It must have some space for advertising revenue on each and every page (not just google ads, proper advertising banners etc).
it must have a member section where someone can save trips they want to be informed of flights of eg london heathrow to san francisco below x cost (multiple currencies)
We will then email member when a discount flight matches that criteria.
for user to get emailed flights they must provide name/address/email/phone number (must be able to generate reports against this using admin tool to track popular flights etc).
gold members can have sms message for flight info (this will be a chargeable service, a small fee per month).
The site must be quick, easy to use and navigate (unlike many flight sites).
Site to have info text on each airline.
site to have info text on each destination airport & country.
for purchased services will need some form of checkout facility (this is not for flights for extra member services).
The option to link to airline site to purchase ticket if feasible would be good, as would the ability to add new airlines sites in the future.
Full admin backend to manage site/edit pages also required.
It may also be an idea to allow airlines to purchase live feeds from there own sites to allow for more accurate ticket information and update database accordingly.
Please do not spam me with we can do this messages, with a huge list of completely un-related, useless sample websites.
