need the development of VB app that runs in two modes:
- command line
- GUI based (GUI needs to have a Windows-XP look and feel).
The app name is [url removed, login to view]
1. When running in command line it does following:
it receives as parameter a name (as example we will call it as follows:
[url removed, login to view] OID
it will then open the file [url removed, login to view] residing in the same directory as [url removed, login to view] and use the parameters to retrieve the value from the SNMP get.
Conf file structure is:
[[url removed, login to view]]
Server=192.168.1.0
OID=0.0.0.0.0.
Community=public
Port=161
The value retrieved is stored in the <PARAMETER_NAME>.log (in our example this would [url removed, login to view])
2. When double clicked (so no parameter given) it should launch the GUI and give three options:
a. Perform a SNMP get in a form with same parameters as above and show the result in the form
b. Allow to load new MIBs so the SNMP agent can also access those new OIDs
c. Allow to perform an SNMP walk. When an OID is selected then you can click on it and get to point a. with some values already completed.
The application should be written in VB6.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
