- The website is currently hosted with a hosting company (shared resources). The plan is to migrate the website, and its database to a VPS. - The goal is to keep everything the same, to minimize any issues. Here is the list of version levels: + It is currently running osCommerce 2.2-MS2 + PHP Ver 5.2.16 + Apache 20051115 + MySQL 5.1.50 + MySQL Client API / library ver 5.0.90 + Curl libcurl 7.15.5, + OpenSSL 0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 - Any required changes in version levels, deemed necessary (e.g. security holes), must be fully documented and tested. - An SSL certificate also needs to be moved accordingly. - "Secure by default" setup: disable any unused ports, install security Apps/patches, etc, on the VPS. - An sFTP server needs to be installed. - A control panel like Webmin may be needed. - We have setup a VPS running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit, with Xfce DE, access via X2Go and PuTTY. - In the interest of protecting our customers' privacy, we will perform the move over TeamViewer sessions on my PC. - I intent to record the sessions for documentary purposes.
