Hi all.
I have a simple requirement for a PIC or AVR powered Voltage to Frequency convertor. The input voltage is 0 - 5v DC, analogue and linear. The output will be a linear 50% duty cycle pwm/square wave (TTL/5vdc) and will range in parallel to the input, from A to B Hz (tbc).
I strongly recommend that the code be built so that you can easily change the A and B values and not have any funky conversion functions. (so, you'll need a calculator!)
The uc chosen must be an 8 pin device, surface mount.
If you are able to, I am also willing to get you to do the PCB design (surface mount, total pcb size under 1" square) and assembly (~500 units).
The initial price for the code on this project is < $100 as its so simple - the additional work is for later quoting by yourself.
I will reimburse device purchase costs (PIC/AVR, possibly a cheap programmer, but you should have one if you're bidding for this ;))
## Deliverables
So, I will want :-
- The source code in asm/c/whatever
- A compiled hex file of the program
- Full ownership over the code
.. and most importantly, for you to be available within short notice (< 48 hours) to make any slight changes.

Assembly or C is acceptable.
8 pin package, DIP is fine for prototyping, final must be SMT
