We need a small plug-in for Firefox that does a few things. It should protect user’s privacy by making sure that all requests sent out by the browser are sent with no "Referrer" information. Also, after it has been installed for 2 months, it should start re-directing unresolved domain names to our finder site . We already have a version of this working with IE. Now we need a Firefox version. Details: 1. After the amount of time has passed, all unresolved domains should be redirected to SuperFunFinder.com. So that, for example, if a user enters: [login to view URL] in Internet Explorer (IE), and that domain name doesn’t exist, their browser is redirected to http://www.superfunfinder.com/n=j83bW4.com. The un-resolvable domain is added to the end of our site address exactly as typed in (ie if the user puts “www??, this is added too). 2. We want to eliminate the HTTP REFERRER sent out for all requests that Firefox makes. Specifically, the Referrer should always be sent as blank. This is the same behavior as when you are using a privacy protector like Norton and have set it to block information about where you are coming from. 3. So that we can tell if a user has installed this program, we want each request Firefox makes to be sent with an addition variable as part of the Header requests that it makes. This custom header should be called "control" and have a value of "1.0" (or whatever the current version of this plug-in is). How it should install This plug-in will be installed as part of another piece of software that has it’s own installer. From you, we will need a .exe that can be added to our main installation file and will automatically work to detect Firefox and if it is there install this extension. Programming language We would like this to be build in C++ with the MS .net IDE. If you wish to use another language please ask us first.
