We have an exsisting website at [url removed, login to view] This service generates enquiries which are forwarded to members by email. (CDO) We wish to add further functionality to our system and require coding in VBScript as follows - We have a access database set up with a 'counties' table with number of 'hops' from one county to another. Also a 'areas' table. We want a new incoming enquiry to go to 4 different members local to the originating county of the enquirer, rather than just sent out to members nationally - We wish to match enquiries/members as follows... Take a typical area as set up now....'East Anglia' This consists of 4 counties....Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambs, and Essex. If we receive an enquiry from say Cambs, ideally it would go to members as follows- First one to member 'A' located in Cambs...(Hops = "0" as its the same county) and then.... One to member B located in Norfolk (Hops = "1" adjoining county) One to member C located in Suffolk (Hops = "1" adjoining county) One to member D located in Essex (Hops = "1" adjoining county) Even if we have more than one member in the same county (As we will) for reasons of diplomacy we would NOT want the same enquiry going to more than one member in that county. It may well be that at any particular time we may not have a member in say Essex...so to maintain the four members, we may have to go outside the immediate counties. In the case above, for the fourth member, we would want them to be as close as possible (counting hops) to the county of origin of the enquiry (Cambs) It might be Warwickshire (Hops = "2" two counties away) or Oxfordshire (Hops ="3" three counties away) All this is going to be further complicated by the fact that there will be an 'lower' and 'upper' limit on the number of enquiries sent to a member. These limits are yet to be decided and will be subject to change, so an 'Admin' facility would be required. We would guarantee a member say 20 enquiries a month. When this limit is reached further enquiries would not be sent until the members next month. Starting dates for a members month would be from the date the member is added to the system. The 'Admin' facility would also have to show how many enquiries a member has had in 'His' month rather than per calander month. Further deatails on request..
