Pentaho / Java Developer

We're working on a proof-of-concept using the ETL tools in the community edition of Pentaho. An existing business process uses a complex excel based tool. The excel based tool is too embedded in latter parts of the business process and must remain. The proof-of-concept deals with the early-stage business processes. It will eventually be web service based (initially internally and later exposed externally). The client has selected the Apache POI framework for interactions with excel. There are two main deliverables: - The first is the configuration of the Pentaho “User Defined Java Class” to run the Apache POI External (Cross-Workbook) reference code. - The second is the configuration of the Pentaho “User Defined Java Class” to run the Apache POI recalculation of Formulas reference code (both can be found at [login to view URL]).
