Part Time Systems Administrator (Camden)

Progressive and busy internet agency is looking for a Systems Administrator (part-time or freelance) to join their Camden studio. We are a growing agency with a client base encompassing high profile clients in arts & entertainment, education, charities and campaigning organisations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience and skilled in Microsoft Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, Active Directory and Internet Information Services 6.0. In addition, the candidate will be proficient in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting PC hardware and operating systems in a networked environment. You will be personable, calm and methodical with good communication skills. ESSENTIAL SKILLS •Installation and configuration of Windows 2003 Servers and Active Directory •Configuring IIS websites, ISAPI extensions and implementing IIS security policies •Setting up scheduled Jobs and maintenance tasks in SQL server 2005 •Configuration, maintenance and monitoring of Hardware Firewalls (e.g., Cisco PIX, Juniper Netscreen, etc) •Implementation of NT and IIS security policies •TCP IP networking services •DOS/WIN2K batch scripting USEFUL EXPERIENCE •Advanced scripting for SQL server 2005 (T-SQL) •Web development using ASP or .Net •Linux administration: QMAIL email server, Apache web server, Mysql, Mailman, Cron jobs •Installation and configuration of tape backup/restore software (e.g., VERITAS or Tapeware) •Configuring qmail sever for email hosting services •Integrate Plesk control panel with existing qmail installations To find out more about our company and to apply for the post, please visit our website [login to view URL] where you will be asked to complete an online skills assessment form and upload your CV.
