Building a python based on CLI tool in Ubuntu and package the entire project and environment as a docker image. The tool needs to do the following: 1) CLI commands to fetch market data from trading brokers API. 2) Need to create and feed real time market data into MySql DB 3) Connect to zipline backtester 4) Accepts trade orders from zipline and pass it to broker API 5) Store all the trades into DB 6) Should be based on the miscroservices architecture that docker support. Note: If successful, this can lead to potential partnership to develop more interesting trading and execution algorithms.

I have developed a similar application for the Indian stock market to get the tick data, store in db. Generate signals based on algorithms and finally fire orders based on the signals generated. It further checks whether the portfolio you have on hand is similar to the one reported by the broker. Have used Python and Java for these. I can help you out on the project, please message me with the API spec etc. to be able to evaluate further

As it is a real-time app with lot of concurrent tasks of pulling real-time market data, I would suggest building this component in Golang. The modeling components can be built as python scripts to use the python's superiority in data science libraries, but the management of these pipelines will be handled concurrently by the Golang server. Golang also gives a more powerful CLI than python. I can containerize everything as individual microservices, and build up a kubernetes deployment strategy for managing this deployment.
