We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics / Embedded Systems Engineer to help us verify, debug, and get a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) working for a 1 HP AC motor. We already have the schematic and STM32 firmware prepared. Your role will be to review the design, test, and ensure stable operation of the VFD. The drive is intended to operate reliably on a universal input voltage range (90 V – 240 V AC), making it suitable for global use. Scope of Work: -Review the provided schematic and firmware. - Validate hardware design for universal voltage operation. - Debug and troubleshoot issues in hardware/firmware integration. - Optimize motor control (V/f or FOC) for smooth and efficient operation. - Ensure protection features (over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, thermal). - Guide in testing and bring-up until motor runs stably. Requirements: - Proven experience in VFD / inverter / SMPS design. - Strong background in STM32-based motor control. - Knowledge of AC-DC-AC topologies and component selection. - Hands-on debugging skills in both hardware and embedded firmware. - Familiarity with EMI/EMC and safety compliance.
